![]() Evaluation doesn’t have to be a long, drawn out process. Sometimes you might want to find out quickly how a training, meeting, or learning session is working. We’ve got a tool for that! The Rapid Feedback Form (RFF) is a short and sweet assessment that captures how gains in knowledge, perceived session value, and perceived practical applicability. We’ve also added some modifications to account for training-of-trainers settings. Participants rate these domains from “none” to “a great deal” and can provide any additional comments as well. The great utility of the RFF is that it takes seconds literally to complete, and just a few minutes for presenter or facilitators to skim through to get a snapshot of what worked and what didn’t. The information gained can be used to improve future session or make real time adaptation. We’ve also synthesized this information after the fact to determine how well many different types of sessions have functioned over time. The RFF has been one of our most adopted tools, with communities in the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation funded, Institute for Healthcare Improvement convened, SCALE initiative using this tool often.
We hope you find it useful as well!
